By senior year of high school, we started our journey together and we haven’t looked back since.
After high school, our story followed us to Southern Methodist University, where we spent four years navigating college, discovering Dallas, building lifelong friendships, and continuing to grow up together.
Following college graduation, life brought us back to San Francisco, where we've built a home together (with Wheezy—our cat).
We feel incredibly blessed that our paths have woven together so naturally, and we can't wait to celebrate with the community of family and friends who have been with us every step of the way.
OUR STORY
What began as a friendship on the Quad of Menlo School in 2015 slowly grew into something neither of us could imagine our lives without.
Through every season and change, the greatest gift has been experiencing life together as best friends.
Nearly a decade later, our "high school sweetheart" story has grown into something deeper and so much sweeter than either of us could have imagined at sixteen. In August, we got engaged in Old Mission, Michigan, a place that has held special meaning to Avery's family for more than a century. It felt only right that this next chapter would begin somewhere so rich in history and heart.
